The Conewago Baseball Association is for boys and girls ages 6-12. It is open to all residents. The season runs from April to June. Registration for 2009 is Sat Jan 17 1030am-1230pm, at the elementary school.

Baseball teams play in the Lower Dauphin Baseball League.
Softball teams play in the Suburban Softball League.
For older boys, ages 13-15, there is the Lower Dauphin Teener Baseball Association. Registration is due by Jan 31, 2009. Download application.
Some neighboring communities may offer fall ball and fast-pitch softball.
Basketball
Lower Dauphin Junior League Basketball is for boys in grades 3-6.
Registration is in November. The season runs from December to March. Games are mostly at LDMS. Contact Joe Miller 944-5834.
Hummelstown Fuzzy Few Girls Basketball is for girls in grades 3-6 and is held at Nye Elementary. While primarily for Hummelstown residents, girls from Conewago may join if space is available. Registration is in December. The season runs from January to March. Contact: Jeff Still 566-8196.
Adult Basketball - Tuesday 8-10pm at Conewago Elementary School. Contact Alan Detweiler, 944-3077.
Boy Scouts
Cub Scouts is for boys in 1st thru 5th grades. Cub Scout Pack 98 is part of the
Keystone Area Council of the
Boy Scouts of America.
While there are no Boy Scout Troops in Conewago, residents may join a troop in a neighboring community. Many have joined Troop 65 in Hershey.
Cheerleading
The Fuzzy Few Organization (FFO) sponsors a cheerleading program in conjunction with their football program Hummelstown Bulldogs. It is for girls entering 1st-6th grade in the fall 2009. Practice will begin Monday, August 3, 2009 at Nye Elementary School. Any questions please contact Kristy Leggore-Cheerleading Coordinator at 367-4107.

Football
The Fuzzy Few Organization (FFO) sponsors a football program Hummelstown Bulldogs. It is for youth ages 7-12 as of Sept 30, 2009. Registration is Thursday and Friday August 13+14, 2009 6pm-8pm at Shopes Field. Equipment hand out will be Saturday August 15, 2009. Practice starts Monday August 17, 2009. Hockey
The Hershey Junior Bears (Hershey Area Minor Hockey Association) youth ice hockey organization fields travel teams,
clinics, camps, and tournaments for players from 5-18 years of age. There are also "in-house" teams.
Twin Ponds Family Recreation Center Offers skating and hockey.(also indoor soccer, lacrosse, and field hockey.)
Karate

Skating
Hershey Figure Skating Club home ice is at HersheyPark Arena. Has Learn-to-skate programs. There are programs available for all skaters, from beginners thru competitors, and all ages, from tots thru adults.
Twin Ponds Family Recreation Center Offers skating and hockey.(also indoor soccer, lacrosse, and field hockey.)
Soccer
Lower Dauphin Soccer Association has a number of programs for boys and girls. These include intramural for boys and girls ages 4-12 and a rec program for ages 12-15. It is open to all residents. Registration for 2009 is Sat March 14, 10am-1pm at LDMS. The season runs from September-November. There are also indoor leagues that play in the winter. There are more competitive travel teams for ages 9-19. These may play year-round. There are several other leagues and teams in the area.
Hershey Youth Soccer Association (HYSA) is limited to children whose parents live or work in Derry Township. It offers intramural programs for 1rst through 9th grades, travel programs to age 19.
Summer Recreation Programs
- Camp Conewago is a summer recreation program for elementary school age children in Conewago Township, Dauphin County. (It is not associated with the Camp Conewago Boy Scout Camp in New Oxford, PA.) It will be held mornings for two weeks during the summer July 20-23 and July 27-30, 2009 at Conewago Elementary School. It is for boys and girls of elementary school age. It is open to all township residents.
This year it is being run by Conewago Township.
- Youth Enjoying Summer is an adventure week held August 3-7, 2009 from 9am-3pm. It includes physically challenging activities like canoeing, rock climbing, and rappelling on a high-rope course and is designed to deter drug and alcohol use. This program is limited to boys and girls entering grades 6-8 in the fall. It costs $25, is sponsored by "High on Kids", enrollment is limited to 40 students and LDMS students are given preference.
Swimming

- Hershey Recreation Center 533-7138, 605 Cocoa Avenue, Hershey, PA 17033. Has both indoor and outdoor pools. You can buy daily passes and annual memberships.
- Hummelstown Swim Club, 566-2368, Kokomo Av, (mailing addresss: 270 Linden Rd), Hummelstown, PA 17036. Memberships only. the Club also hosts the Hummelstown Swim Team. The Learn-to-Swim program is open to non-members: register by May 15 for program held June 15-June 26, 2009. Download application.
